biography:
Dr.
Hardev Singh Virk taught Physics at the Bachelor of Science and Master
of Science levels in the universities of Punjab state in India for
39 years (1963-2002) and guided 18 Ph.D. research students. He has
also served as Principal Investigator of 16 major research projects
in Seismology, Radiation Physics and Ion Tracks technology. He has
organised national and international seminars and published 15 books
on scientific literature, essays and conference proceedings. He has
contributed to papers on science-religion and inter-faith dialogue
themes with special reference to the Sikh religion. He has also traveled
widely in pursuit of his research activities.
