biography:
Dr.
Chakravorty joined the faculty of Sanskrit Studies at Bangalore University
in 1972 and has been teaching Indian Philosophy ever since. She presented
papers in the area of Consciousness Studies at the National Institute
of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Indian Institute of Science Campus in
Bangalore and participated in the conference on Quantum Mind 2003
in Arizona, USA. In addition to this, Dr. Chakravorty also organised
an International Seminar on the concept of Matter, along with the
Dept. of Physics, in Bangalore University.
