Tom Mackenzie, Programme Director
Tom joined the UIP in 2001. He has worked on the planning and implementation of numerous research initiatives, the organisation of several academic conferences and the running of the two phases of the GPSS project.
Having completed his postgraduate studies in Economic Development and Environmental Issues (MSc., University of London), he spent a year working at the UNESCO hq in Paris. He maintains close contacts with the organisation, notably regarding the preparation of partnerships e.g. as part of the CTNS’ internationally acclaimed Science and the Spiritual Quest Programme.
Based in Paris most of the time, Tom has also been involved in the organisation of meetings and/or the setting up or research collaborations in Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, Kazakhstan, and India.
