GPSS-MAP (2006 - 2009)

The Global Perspectives on Science and Spirituality Major Awards Programme (GPSS - MAP) is jointly managed by the Interdisciplinary University of Paris (France) and Elon University (USA) with funding from the John Templeton Foundation.

Mission Statement: GPSS Major Awards Programme

The GPSS-Major Awards Programme (MAP) seeks to identify and support excellent researchers and organisers through a competitive peer-reviewed process. Successful candidates will bring to bear their unique regional and cultural backgrounds in concert with established work to broaden and deepen research and dialogue into the relationship between science and religion in an open and critical manner.

The GPSS MAP does not espouse any religious, political or social agenda. The programme will only support research that is fully open to critical review, adheres to the highest standards of scholarly discourse and serves to advance public dialogue and understanding.
